As an Expert Reviewer (ER), you will be reviewing the solutions submitted by other experts on Chegg Q&A board as per review guidelines. 

Price per VALID review would range between 70 - 90/- INR* 


Process of becoming an Expert Reviewer (ER). 

1) Once/If you receive an ER opportunity email, review the guidelines attached in the mail thoroughly.  

2) Register for the training webinars and attend the power-packed learning sessions.  

3) Attempt and pass the guideline assessment.

Terms and Conditions: 

  • This is an exclusive opportunity for selected experts who have received the invitation via email. 

  • This is a pilot program and can be modified/extended/withdrawn by Chegg at any time. 

  • Receiving an invitation email doesn't guarantee an Expert Reviewer opportunity. Final shortlisting would be done basis further evaluation & and available opportunity. The actual price per valid review will be communicated once & if you are shortlisted for reviewing work. 

  • If shortlisted, you will receive an email containing Review work and further steps. 

  • Your authoring rights will be suspended while you work on the review task and will be restored post-review work/task communicated end date. 

  • In case your authoring rights are revoked during the reviewing period due to the submission of low-quality solutions, your authoring rights will not be restored.  

 

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) : 

 

1) How many attempts do I have to clear the assessment? 

 

ANS - You can attempt the assessment more than once. However, your last attempt’s score will be considered for evaluation. 

 

2) If I am unsure of reviewing a solution, can I skip it?  

 

ANS - Yes. You can choose not to review a solution if you are unsure of it. 

 

3) Will I get the required trainings to be an Expert Reviewer? 

 

ANS - Chegg will provide you with all the training support through Webinars and other modes. You shall receive the webinar registration link in the email. 

 

4) How many solutions do I need to review?  

 

ANS - To get the right data read about your performance as an ER, we recommend submitting a review of at least (any) 40 solutions. The more the better. 😊 

 

5) If selected, how and where will I be reviewing solutions? [URL/login credentials] 

 

ANS - You will receive an Excel file containing 300 URLs via email. Clicking each URL will open a pair of Q/sol to be reviewed in your browser.  

 

Your login credentials remain the same as your authoring credentials. 

 

6) Where shall I submit my review? 

 

ANS - Post reviewing a solution on your browser, submit the correct review inputs in the review form that would be shared via email (in the same email where Excel file containing URLs of solutions to be reviewed would be shared) 

 

7) What are review SOPs? Why are they required? 

 

ANS - Review SOPs are your reference guide to submitting correct review inputs for each solution. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to refer to review SOPs before submitting review inputs for EACH SOLUTION. 

 

8) Anything else that I should know & follow? 

 

ANS - Yes. Whenever you submit review inputs for a solution, ensure that you submit the CORRECT question ID in the review form. Inputting the wrong question id in the review form will lead to disqualification of payment for that solution’s review even if it was reviewed correctly.
