Chegg Rating New Quality Review Parameters

We're introducing updated review parameters for Chegg solutions effective December 19th 2024, to enhance the quality standards for Chegg solutions. This change is designed to further elevate the quality of solutions provided to our students.



Why is this change happening? 

We're committed to providing the best possible learning experience for our students. By refining our review process, we aim to ensure that every solution fulfills the below parameters: 

  • Relevancy: Indicates how closely a solution aligns with the question asked  

  • Completeness: Evaluates whether the solution has all essential information like calculations, diagrams, procedural steps, & explanatory statements in the solution.  

  • Accuracy: Evaluates the correctness of the information/concept/method followed in the solution.  

  • Clarity: Refers to how easily the solution can be understood by the student, by assessing language complexity, readability, and redundancy. 

  • Structured: Refers to how the solution is organized and presented in relation to the requirements of the question.    

  • Voice: Evaluates whether a solution sounds human or overly non-human (bot-like).

How will this impact you? 

Your solutions will be evaluated on these updated parameters, more stringent. With this change, your QC score evaluation will become more stringent. Please consume this information/feedback to improve your solution further.

1. Are there any changes in HCV Violation guidelines under the new rubric?

No, there is no change in HCV guidelines

2. When will these new standards be implemented?

The updated review parameters will be effective from December 19th onward.

3. Will these new parameters changes impact my payment?

No changes to payments. Solutions receiving a red badge will not be paid.

4. Will my previous solutions get re-reviewed under new quality standards/parameters?

No, any solutions reviewed before 19th December’24, will not be reviewed again.

5. What is the reason for the new rubrics/parameter change in the quality review parameters?
